Christ-Centered Mentorship

At the heart of the WiLoKi Apprenticeship Program is Christ-centered mentorship led directly by our Founder and Executive Director. Apprentices are invited “behind the curtain” to learn the deeper why behind what we do, the reasoning for our structures and rules, and the story of how WiLoKi was birthed through prayer and seeking the Lord. We share how each key decision has been made through prayerful consideration of biblical values, asking what would be most honoring and pleasing to God.Apprentices are taught not only strong technique, but also the “technique behind the technique” of developing true excellence. They are encouraged to pray with leadership for God’s leading, wisdom, provision, and direction. Apprentices are also trained to be excellent, God-honoring role models for other students and are encouraged to seek God first in all things. We are also developing a second part of our Apprenticeship Program that will give apprentices the opportunity to grow into full-fledged instructors with us. We are currently sketching out what this next phase will look like and are excited for how God will use it.
